Objectives of the project :

According to the development of the container activity of the port of Tanger, the ports autorities launched in 2007 a tender for the concession of the container terminal of TangerMed II

Activities performed by CTS :

The aim of the study was to assist CMA CGM and MSC consortium in the tender response for operating the container terminal of Tanger Med 2. The next points were investigated :
- Marketing and strategic analysis : study of the competitive port environment for the transshipment market, traffic analysis and forecasting; identification of main actors, strategic positioning of the port
- Technical and operational design of the terminal : analysis of the maritime and land access; infrastructure and equipment design; investment evaluation and planning
